On January 13th, 2026, the first batch of iCAUR V27s officially began shipping from Shanghai Port, China. As Chery Group’s new energy strategic brand, this shipment of the V27 marks iCAUR’s official entry into a new stage of global expansion. It signals the transition of this model aimed at becoming a new energy classic from debut and anticipation to actual user engagement.
To meet the demands of global users, the vehicles were shipped to multiple regions during testing for multi-standard validation. In China, the V27 underwent endurance testing covering more than 1 million kilometers. The tests covered a wide range of conditions in China. Temperatures ranged from -40°C in Heihe to over 50°C in Turpan, and terrains from the Tibetan Plateau to coastal mudflats. The V27 underwent more than 50 comprehensive tests worldwide, including Germany’s unrestricted highways, Southeast Asian rainforests for water wading, and Siberia’s icy roads, and passed all of them to high standards. The V27 made its global debut at the iCAUR Brand Night in August last year. It has been showcased at major events, including the International User Summit and the Riyadh and Guangzhou Motor Shows, steadily building market attention and anticipation through these presentations and user interactions. With the first batch now officially shipped, global users’ anticipation for firsthand experience of the V27 is coming true.
The V27 is iCAUR’s first mass-production model with Golden REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle). Designed around the “Future Classic” concept, it redefines classic aesthetics in the new-energy era. Its boxy body is over 5 meters long, featuring retro round headlights and clean lines. This gives the V27 a strong look while keeping it visually appealing. The interior has “Stellar Cockpit”, featuring the class-first “Stellar Porthole” dual panoramic sunroof and the floating “Star Island” ceiling, creating a cabin that feels spacious and high-tech. With a 2,900mm wheelbase and a highly efficient interior layout, the V27 offers a spacious five-seat configuration, offering comfort, practicality, and versatility for various scenarios. On the powertrain side, Golden REEV delivers over 150km of pure electric range and more than 1,000km of combined range, while maintaining strong performance and energy efficiency. This enables the V27 to effortlessly cover city commutes, long-distance travel, and a variety of usage scenarios.
The iCAUR V27 marks a key milestone with the shipment of its first mass-produced vehicles. It signals the completion of its transition from R&D validation to full-scale production. Product quality, manufacturing systems, and supply chain capabilities have all passed rigorous validation. The V27 is now fully ready for market launch and delivery. As production and global logistics continue to advance, the V27 will gradually arrive in markets worldwide, reaching customers who have long awaited its launch.
